Your Arts Discovery Mini Unit in detail:

Here is a simple History of Arts set of 30 task cards to describe and analyze 3 of Rockwell’s paintings Bully Before, Bully After and Girl with a Black Eye. An excellent way for your students to practice hypotheses and inferences, as an anticipation.

You will find, for each painting:

❑ writing follow-ups to engage your students

❑ ideas to start a debate about « bullying »

❑ answer key

How to use this resource:

You will have to print out the 3 paintings (precise references and links in the teacher’s notes) and the task cards (whether with or without the answer key for your convenience). Everything is explained on the first page.
